About Us

The New School was founded in 1989 by its current headmaster, John Potter. It has an enrollment of approximately 150 students in grades 4-12.

The New School of Northern Virginia is dually accredited by The Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
